Building a knife is a lesson in patience. It starts our with plane old bar stock. You become a scientist as you weld, stack, heat and pound together the layers of steel to form one cohesive bar. Then the rest becomes functional art as you learn to match and marry the pieces together to create something that can be used for generations to come.

Classic Designs with and Evolutionary twist
There is no doubt that I love a big handforged knife. It feels good in your hand and makes you smile. After the steel is forged all of the marks can be removed, but I personally love to see the evolution of the blade from the scars of the handforging process to the soft hand rubbed brushed finish to the tip of the blade.
Each piece is hand crafted to pair with the other
As a husband and wife team, we are able to work through the projects from beginning to end. Ben is inspired by the handle material and decides what blade style and shape will fit with a given piece and then Cindy carries out the final piece of the creation with a custom sheath made one at a time to fit the blade.
